Root your phone and install one of many custom ROMS. Virtually all of them have black notification bars (in keeping with the theme that AMOLED uses less power on a black background)

    Very nice.

Are those text widgets? (Battery and time) or part of the custom ROM?

Text widgets--Battstat for the battery percentage, and Tajm for the time. You'll find 'em on the market. About the only thing that's part of a custom ROM on my homescreen is the vertical power control widget.

Went back to 2.11.3 on Enom's just so I could use Pendo's super circle. Also toying around a bit with GOTO.

Very much a work in progress. Yes, I realize WP7 doesn't look exactly like this.

Very nice layout! I have a few questions,

    - how do you get those big icons?
    - which messaging widget is it?
    - which clock widgets and weather widgets are you using?
    - what exactly does quickdesk do?
    - what is the big sticky note widget?

    Thanks!

    • New Notification Bar Icon. Thanks UltraLinx for this cool icon set.
    • Resize Dockbar Icon to 72x72 to maintain smooth icon layout.
    • Use Default Android 2.2 OS Wallpaper.

    Good effort!

It even has the WP7 text which doesn't fit ;)

Haha, yeah, it's intentional. I'll probably regret it very soon and go back to something more functional and less rigid.
