Look at my signature. BTW, let's not include tests from the app since it's extremely inaccurate. Tether it to you computer, if you want to test it properly.

They fixed the problem where the upload speed would be like 50Mb/s with an update a few days ago.(^Proof:look above, thats from the Speedtest app^)

I can test right now using the app and show you my 50mbps uploads if you want. They can't just fix it without releasing the actual update for their app in Market Place.
    So no, it's not fixed.

There was absolutely no update in the Market Place for SpeedTest.net app unless you have some other market place. Version 1.7.4 is the latest one and it's been a while since they updated it.

I get decent 4G speed when I use the speedtest on my phone...about 10 Mbps down. But when I tether using Mobile Hotspot, I only get about 1 or 2 Mbps down. Any thoughts? :(

how do you tether? WiFi or USB, and if WiFi how far away from the phone are you?

Wifi and my phone is inches away from my laptop. I tried tethering with USB, but how do you set that up on the computer? Would that show up as a LAN?

With Speakeasy.net, i tested at 7 Mbps down. So it it a problem with the Speedtest.net site?

Edit: nevermind, I ran the test again on Speedtest.net and got around 8 Mbps when i test on my laptop. I still get like 20 Mbps on my phone, though. Wish I could get that high on my laptop.

New record for me. Driving through Atlanta last night. It's weird how 4G speeds are MUCH slower at my house compared to downtown Atlanta.
