Hi all,
I have a few questions about Android tablets that I've been researching, but have not really found definitive answers to, so I was hoping I could get help and some opinions in this forum.
I am looking to buy a tablet, and was originally going to get the ipad, but am really intrigued by Android, especially the coming Samsung 10.1.
There are 2 things I want to use a tablet for, 1) reading magazines and 2) doing some light word/document editing.
For magazines, I see both Amazon and Barnes & Noble have Android apps. The problem is I don't see a lot of magazines listed. Are there just not a lot of magazines available through them? I couldn't find anything that had a "master list". And I guess if I might be interested in books, is their entire book catalog available for reading on Android through their respective apps? Are the magazines PDF copies?
Finally, how good are the office apps for Android? Anyone use Android for document creation/editing. I'd like at least some of the formatting to convert back to MS Word. How easily do files sync or transfer onto a PC?
I know this is a lot to ask, but I was hoping some folks might have some answers.
Thanks everyone. Happy Memorial Day.
