I've read around that with Froyo you can go into Settings> Accessibility and turn on a feature called Power button ends call. Fairly obvious what it does, but i can't find it. Is it not available on the desire.

If so, is there an app for that, or some other way to do it?

    Thanks

If you can't find the option on yours, maybe you're right and it's not part of teh HTC ROM.

I have the option, but I run a custom rom. The menu you said its in is correct for me.

On a similar topic, does the FroYo update enable you to wake up the phone using a button other than the power button?

I can't see an option to wake using the Menu button, but i'm sure i heard of an app that did that. It may have meant replacing the lock screen with theirs though. I can't remember what it is called though.

This is available only to Nexus One users, running Froyo.

The Desire does not have that option built-in, Froyo notwithstanding. I guess you need a custom ROM.

(I think HD2 users can try "mapping". Was reading about it on xda)

    PS: Waiting for a work-around. ;)
