Help Power button problems

Anyone having problems with their power button? Anyone clean it out? Ideas? Yeah, could have sent it back but didn't want to screw with all that.
There are ways around not using it and the phone works fine but it is a minor PIA.
There are apps that turn the screen off faster than setting the phone to 30 sec screen time out and if I want/ need to restart the phone , pulling the battery works just fine.
Just wondering if anyone is having this problem.

I seem to have fixed it. Took phone apart and blew things out with compressed air. so far so good.

My phone hasn't worked this well in a long time. Seems faster. No goofy stuff happening now.
