Help power controls in notification bar?

Is there an app or mod available that adds power controls to the notification pull down? Like how Samsung has on their Galaxy S devices.

I tried an app (widgetsoid I think) that added them but when you tap on the icon, it opens up a pop-up which then controls the settings. I wan't the wifi, bluetooth, silent, etc to be switched on and off right from the pull-down notification bar.

Any suggestions?

None that I know of. I'm not sure if this will help, but I use "Executive Assistant" which can be used as a lock screen, along with the stock lock screen. (You can still use the finger print scanner.) You can place widgets and shortcuts on the lock screen. (Without having to unlock the phone.)

I just thought of something else that I use too. (How could I forget this.) You can use "Quick Settings" which sits in the notification bar. You can customize which buttons you want, bluetooth, airplane mode, GPS, wifi, etc. I love this app.

Not at the moment, there's no app that allows you to control the settings directly from the notification bar (the process is too ingrain in the system I think) As you've pointed out, the apps on the market are only 'shortcuts' in the notification bar.

The only one I know that can do this outside of Touchwiz is he MIUI ROM. It has this feature built into it but it's a custom ROM that sadly we cannot use on our Atrix. Hopefully when the XDA devs completely bypass the bootloader, we can

Correct me if I'm wrong, but what you described, is basiclly the same thing, short cuts. I saw this feature on the Samsung Galexy S II, I believe was the phone, were it had the short cuts in the notification bar. (That's really all they are, it just looks nicer, that's all.)

They are direct shortcuts on Touchwiz. You pull down the notification bar, click on wifi and wifi is turned on. Apps like widgetsoid, they put the service and have it show the shortcut but when you click on it, the app is popped up and you make your selection there. It's not a direct shortcut like Touchwiz, which is what I believe the OP wants.

I hear what you are saying, but don't see the difference outside of in "Quick Settings" when you pull down the notification bar, you select the "Quick Settings" icon and it has a list of all the power button functions, that you can customize, to turn things on or off and insome cases, you can make changes. For example, for ringer, you can select between: silent, vibrate, vibrate and ringer. Volume controls, you can control all the volumes on your phone. Touchwiz, does the same thing, just in a different way. (Just pull down the notification bar and the buttons are there, instead of an extra press.) I say try it and see, you might like it. You've got nothing to lose, since there currently isn't anything else out there that comes close to Touchwiz.

MIUI has that feature it's useless to us now though -_-;;; well hopefully not for too long though lol

We can use Notification Toggle which occupies one line each for wifi, bluetooth, mobile apn and so on in the status bar. Pull down the status bar and click the option. It will switch accordingly. I am using it and it has solved my problem also.

i have the glaxay nexus for verizon, but i got an app call More Quickly Panel. gives me sound changing, wifi on/off, bluetooth on/off and then some. its not a free app tho but so far i like it; only had it for not even a day right now.
