I had a galaxy tab 2 10.1 for 5 months and then on switching the screen on from standby the wifi button was off and I had to manually switch it on. A month later and the wifi button failed to turn on the wifi and I had to return the device. I am currently using greenpower to switch the wifi chip off when the screen goes off and I wondered if something like this could be leading to the wifi chip dying much earlier than it normally would. This seems stupid and I dont see how its possible but wanted to get everyone elses opinion
Thanks
