Just seen on XDA and another site that a power managment app was
put in the wrong directory,so it does not work, this is a quote from XDA site.

"For some reason HTC misplaced the .apk and put it in /system/bin instead of system/app"

"You will find it /system/bin/NvCPLSvc.apk and it needs moving to system/app."

It said you can move it but have tried with Astro but it will not move,do i need a rooted phone to do this. ?
Hopefully this will be rectified in the 1.27/1.28 update. :)

Yeah, you need a rooted phone to do this. Without root, you can't read/write to that partition.

There might be a way of doing it with ADB, but I can't say for sure.
