Quite simply. this is the best music app I've seen anywhere, on any platform. It's the best looking and (more importantly) easily the best sounding.

I can't say enough how impressed I am with this app. I thought Winamp was the best music player out but this blows it away by a mile! The speed and interface and options are all amazing. When the paid version comes out hopefully soon, I'll be the first to shell out the cash!

What in the world is the "tone" control in the EQ? It sounds AWFUL.

The Tone enables the Bass and Treble knobs. Sounds fantastic on mine...dunno why it doesn't on yours.

I'm wanting to use this but it can't find my music. I even tried to drop some music into the folder it creates but nothing. Currently I have all of my music on emmc/mp3(folder I created), the htc player sees it and plays it fine. Where can I move my music so that poweramp recognizes my music/where is the best place to put my music. Thanks

I use this music player for my headphones and then I also use MixZing for when I hook my phone up to my car. Between these two apps, I have all my music needs taken care of.

In settings there is a 'music folders' option which lists every directory on your card. Tick the one where your music is and the app should find it. Handy for not having it play ringtones etc.

This application is so cool. it is what i had been finding for all these time.
but today when i tried to open the application, i saw there's a message. it states the evaluation version has expired, notify me to buy it or quit. since it is such a wonderful app, sure i cannot miss it. however when i click on buy, it turns out to be "nothing is found". i wonder why

Very nice improvements from the last version! I'm not used to a developer actually being responsive to customer feedback. Very cool! As a loyal WinAmp fan I feel so dirty using PowerAMP, but it really is better at this point. The llama's ass just got re-whipped.

Is there a way to make it just stop after getting to the end of an album/folder?

Mine's in an 'MP3' folder but ticking the box in the settings csreen should work wherever your music is.

PowerAMP is now officially in the market.

Some random improvements, including much better lock screen handling - you can actually go from the lock screen to your phone now instead of from poweramp's lock screen to your phones lock screen to your phone.

Yea, try it all as one word.

I don't know if 2.2 is required or certain phones or what if you still cant find it.

Any clue if this will be free? pay only? ad supported?

I usually don't like using an app and getting hooked on it without knowing what the model will be.

I think it will be paid initially, maybe a free version to later follow.

That's pure speculation on my part.

I think it will be worth it as long as its not over $5.00. Just my opinion after using it for a week or so.

It's in the market as Free right now. I will have to try it out as I've been looking for a decent replacement for bTunes forever. I really wish the bTunes dev hadn't stopped supporting it. I hate when I pay for an awesome app then the deve stops supporting it and ends up being crappy.

I like a lot of stuff this app does, however the ui on the playback screen is too cluttered. This isn't an iphone, we do have a menu button to access stuff, it all doesn't need to be on the screen at one time.
