Root prevail rooting/ preloaded apps

    So does anybody know how to get rid of the preloaded apps without rooting the phone, if not can some one give me some help on rooting it and what apps to delete the preloaded ones? thanks

    I don't think anyone has rooted the phone yet. Conventional rooting techniques did not work and I think they are still working on rooting the phone.

    I was able to root my prevail with a 1 click program

    What program did you use?

    Are you on ED14(Stock) or EE14(Recent update) for the baseband/build?

    You can check by going to settings> about phone and scrolling down the list.

    yes im on ee14.. froyo.ee14 the program i used was kms the other 1 click root software

    how can i delete the preloaded messaging on the phone??? i found an app i like better please help me :(

    Are you rooted?
    if you are rooted and have the new messaging installed just use a file explorer, I use root explorer.
    browse to /system/app and delete mms.apk.
