My question was asked by someone else before but wasn't answered. I was wondering if there is a way to keep a program from being closed wwhen it is in the background.
I am currently running cm6 and I have noticed that my aim app constantly closes.

    Any suggestions? Thanks

Due to the way that Android manages memory there really isn't a way to stop an app from being closed.

If you're using a Task Killer then make sure that it is not set to automatically kill apps.

look into an app called Tasker

I have used it to set a profile to kill certain apps from ever starting, like Amazom MP3, so would think that opposite is possible as well once started. this is a very powerful an awesome app. ask in their forum if it is possible.
