What is the price for the UK, and where/when can we buy?
This is what I get when I go through the order process...
Have you got your country set as United Kingdom (GB) in Google Checkout?
United States Dollars United Kingdom Pounds 1 USD = 0.625947 GBP 1 GBP = 1.59758 USD
Starting in 2010, the United Kingdom will apply a 17.5% Value Added Tax (VAT) on the on the total cost of your order, including all shipping costs and insurance. A 6.5% duty may apply to some items in your order.
I've got to wait until Friday (payday) to order
So for the UK, about
I have to wait until I can cash out my referrals at Freebiejeebies, should be getting around
And have you included the 17.5% VAT and 6.5% duty in that price?
...that's the final price that is displayed on the site?
Nope. DHL will charge you import taxes on delivery on top.
Is there someone who can buy me one and send it to germany? It's mean that I don't get one....
There isn't a 'nope' lol. I stated a fact, I was using the figure from the site. I didn't see that page though, so thanks
Google do say they will be selling it on the .co.uk and their other sites as soon as possible. Be interesting to see what the price will be, as usually it's a lot more than having it imported.
Do you think they will bump up the price? Not having to pay the import tax would be a boon.
They wouldn't make it more expensive than buying from the US site..
Well, someone has to pay the tax, but usually it's like a $ =
Compare Apple and Microsoft, you'll see they all do it.
This should probably go in another thread, but...
The N1 is using the same adaptor (mini usb) as the G1, right? So, no need to order one?
That'll be $19.99 off at least.
But it won't have Google all over it? What will you have etched on your Nexus One?
Hopefully Google will stick to their "Don't be evil" mantra.
Something sickeningly personal, just to keep the re-sale value down
Nah, I doubt I'll have anything, to be honest.
If the G1 has got Mini USB you are unlucky (or buy an adaptor), the N1 does have MicroUSB (the same but smaller)
Oh, its the micro? Balls.
will the nexus one work on the network 3 uk? cuz im not sure what band they use and what bands the google phone will work on
