Printing out a SMS thread

Hi Guys
I have a SMS thread I need to printout urgently.
Several problems
1 on both of the linux machines and on windows7 the LG GT540 is seen as a usb device but the contents of the SDCard are not displayed.

2. I need to copy a SMS thread on to the SDcard so it can be read either by FTP or a card reader.

I've tried 2 apps that claim to do this, but one just crashes and the other leaves the file in a .db format, probable compressed , but it wont tfansfer with filezilar over a a wifi tether.

Once I can get the SMS thread onto the SDcard I could upgrade the s/w to 2.1

Can someone help with this please, the second is more important, albeit the transfer rate will be slower over a wifi link

try using one of the apps that backup your sms into gmail and then print it from there on a computer

Thanks, I did consider that, but I've forgotten hat my e-mail address is on the gmail account.
I've sent a mail to my other account from the gmail one, pity the android gmail appy doesn't display the e-mail address. may be lucky and get it from the header.

Try cloud print from the market. It has options for printing sms.
