Perhaps much to expect that a mobile should be able to cope with, but why not!

A part of my day is private and drive for my work. Currently I use lots of time to keep track of what's what, and when company driving is to many different places, I thought, is there an app that when the end of the day can show on a map where I've run, and where I have to be on different time?

Looking around on the Web, but has a lot of apps. is only for tracking right here and now.

must there always be a SIMcard in a phone to the GPS signal can be registered or may do the job alone?

GPS is totally independent of any telecoms network so you don't need a SIM. Just tested on my Galaxy S4.
