    Hey Folks,

I got a PRL update this morning after turning my phone back on, and it feels a lot more responsive and faster. Still on 1.5, but it's a lot less laggy and I'm very excited about it. Anyone else experiencing this?

its Menu > Settings > About Phone > Status.
scroll down to bottom should be a bar there that says PRL with a number under it

Prl is "preferred roaming list" and updates what cell towers your phone prefers.

FWIW, JB in Az posted a thread about this a week or 2 ago.

why does my phone feel faster though if it's just about cell towers? things respond faster, animate smoother, etc...

Maybe you rebooted your phone or have less running in the background.

that might have something to do with the face you restarted your phone. usually like any type of computer big or small if you turn it off, it'll run a little faster when you first turn it back on....unless we're talking dell computers

Have you installed any new SW lately, it may have needed a reboot, when ever I do an update or install any new SW I always reboot
