Help Problem Adding Gmail Account

Hey all,

I am having trouble adding my work gmail account to my gmail app. I go through the process, enter my email address and password, but I always get a connection timeout. I have tried with a different account that belongs to a coworker, and got the same result.

Though the account doesn't use "@gmail.com", it is indeed a gmail account (this was confirmed by my IT department and countless coworkers who have successfully added their account to their Android phones).

Any ideas? Thanks!

I can't help you with your problem but your not the only one. My daughters phone has done the same thing since we got it and nothing has seemed to make it work. Hopefully someone has an answer for us.
