    I have a G2 Touch on T-Mobile UK.

I rooted my device today, but it was slow. I rebooted the phone and it started a 'setup' sequence (select your language etc), but it then says 'Insert SIM card to place calls'. The SIM card is inserted and it isn't recognising. It won't let me skip this step to use the phone.

I've tried to connect to HTC Sync to attempt to unroot via USB, but it won't recognise it on my PC or phone. I can't access the recovery mode - I get a red triangle with an exclamation mark which does not do anything.

What can I do to get my phone back unrooted and working again?
