My Nexus S is on Telus network in Canada, currently on version 2.3.6.
    It's a I9020A, Build number GRK39F.

Rooted last year, and I followed the tutorial on NexusSHacks:
"This works on ALL Nexus S variants and Nexus S 4G, this root method basically installs Clockwork Recovery then you flash Super User files, which works on all Nexus S variants."

It seems everybody's getting a taste of ICS, but still no sign of OTA over here. No notification, manually checking update, nothing. Tried clearing Google service cache, still nothing.

Help me out here, guys! Very confused!

You should still receive it even if you're rooted, but of course you will lose root if you install the OTA update.

As for when you get it, that depends 100% on the Google servers. Many users have already been updated, and many more are still waiting. I was one of the lucky first ones to get it, but I know several others who have received it recently, and some who haven't received it yet. Be patient...

Thanks, mate! I'll give it a couple of days.
