Help Problem on upgrading to Gingerbrid via kies :-(

Whenever I connect my phone to my laptop, Kies always ask me if I want to upgrade my Current Firmware Versio to Latest Firmware Version. I have a good connection to the internet yet it always get interrupted like, Connection timed lost. but whenever that message popped my phone is displaying "Downloading.... Do not turn off target" for about 5 hours.
i canceled the connection and start from beging again,it start to download the firmware and at 80% it appears an error and asked to do recovery firmware , i didn't do the recovery

Is that normal?

Happened to me once. Was Kaspersky "bug". If you have it (or if you have other AV), just suspend the protection while downloading/upgrading. Hope this helps
