    I'm having issues viewing MMS messages. I keep getting an error when trying to open the pictures. Here is the error details:

    "java.lang.SecurityException:
    Permission Denial: reading com.
    android.providers.telephony.
    MmsProvider uri content://
    mms/part/243 from
    pid=24259 , uid=10065 requires
    anroid.permission.READ_SMS"

    Please help! Thanks

    Are you using a third party messaging app like Handcent or Chomp SMS? Does the popup show that error message and force close? And of course... is your Mobile Network turned on, you can't receive MMS without that turned on.

    I'm not using any 3rd party apps. I tried Handcent but it wasn't opening all the pics either. The window would just pop up but not force close anything. Yes i am currently on the mobile network. Not WI-FI

    not sure about your particular problem with stock messenger but in order to recieve pics correctly with handcent you need to go to the handcent settings and check auto retrieve

    I have that setting check. I can view the first pic but not the rest of them. I also tried changing my size limit to no limit instead of 300k
