Alright, I'm getting annoyed here. I've rooted a phone previously (twice) but recently had a replacement sent from Verizon and have been trying to root it without luck.

I load bootloader and try to install the drivers, but before I can select the ones on my desktop my computer auto-installs drivers. It states the driver as Android Bootloader Interface.

Anyway, I reboot the phone, plug it into the computer with USB debugging on, and run Unrevoked 3. It gets to the point where it says "Rooting.." and stays there for a bit, then I receive an error message saying root was impossible and asking whether or not I have new firmware.

I have uninstalled HTC Sync and anything else I think would be communicating with the phone.

    Any ideas?
