    hi,
i have a samsung galaxy s gt-i9000 and i'm trying to update the frimware as it is in the attached files. when i'm trying to do it an message apears saying that there is insufficient space and i need 3000 more MB (the language in pictures is romanian but i wrote here what they say). i tried to free some memory but still nothing. my internal phone memory has 1.82 GB free space, the internal SD card has 5.52 GB free space, and the external SD card has 5.05 GB free space.
the phone in not rooted, and i just reseted it to factory settings, so all my apps were deleted, but still not enough memory.
    any sugestions?

Actually what it is telling you is that you need more than 3 gb of your space on the laptop/computer from which you are upgrading software.

So just free up more than 3 gb of your hard disk on pc and it would work.

PS: I know this because I had got the same error message!

It's because Kies is using your Temp directory, which is normally on your C drive.

What you need to do is change your Windows config so your Temp directory is on your D drive.

I had the same issue and what I mentioned above worked for me and someone else here that had the same issue.
