Problem with adding new Android Resources

Hi,

I am very new to Android development. I tried to create small project and use emulator to test it. I created new Android Resources (Color and few more strings). But when i tried to use that on buttons i don't see my resources when i right click on button and click Edit Text.. and Choose resources..
Can someone help me.
