Help Problem with auto update of some applications

I noticed that all the web based application is not getting updated automatically except gmail (IMAP).

I configured a Gmail acc with Exchange ActiveSync, another gmail with IMAP, weather, RSS news feed etc to be updated with a frequency.
1. Exchange gmail for 10 & 15min,
2. IMAP gmail for 15 & 30min
3. Weather for 1hr
4. News for 2hr

Following setting are enabled -
a. Background data
b. Enable always-on mobile data

I use WiFi and EDGE both but the situation is same. Could anybody please help me in this regard?
