    hi,
I guess i may have stumbled upon a weird problem related to browsing internet while using GPRS. I noticed this when i finally got GPRS enabled on my mobile connection. Until now, i have only used WIFI to browse internet !!

When i am on GPRS, browsers (like xscope, opera mini) will not open up any site . . . . However, the default browser opens up any site pretty fast . . .

When i am on WIFI, all the browsers work as expected . . .

Now i am going crazy trying to juggle/use different browsers :(

Can anyone shed some light on this, pls ??

PS : using galaxo 1.6.3.1 with geo fix, battery indicator patch . ..

    Thanks for the info !!
however it doesnt help .... Why is it not working for xscope but only works for the default browser ??

For opera mini, i have set the following settings in "Advanced settings" ...
    Protocol : Http
    Start page links : ON

have also tried with settings :
    Protocol : Socket
    Start page links : OFF

    but no success :(
