Problem with charging my phone

I've had my Galaxy Ace 2 for a week now. On its second week, I seem to have problems with its charging time. I've had it plugged for about 4 hours now (from 15-20%) and it still isn't fully charged. How come? What could be the reason behind it?

Hi & welcome to the forum.
Are you charging it with the wall plug charger, or a USB through a pc/laptop?
Are you using it while you are charging it?
Should take about 3 hours or so from 15% to the green "100%" icon appearing on the top bar. Try turning the phone off for a few seconds & restarting it.
If still a problem come back & let us know. Graham

I'm using the wall plug charger, and yes, from time to time (and by that I meant for every 5 or 10 minutes) I use it to text.

It already took me like, 5 hours just to charge it from 15-20% to 70%.
