Problem with default browser and Google apps and settings

QUICK EDIT: The second image shows what I said about default apps. Just so you know that happens without touching absolutely anything. That happens at the moment I start the google app.

The first image is where it leads me.
So I did a thread about this some time ago but I didn't get any useful answer. So I'm going to say my problem and also clarify some things. (I understand the topic better now)
My problem is that whenever I try to use the normal Google app or access the Google search settings, my phone immediately opens up my default browser. This could be, of course, a Google protocol to simplify navigation but it has this big bug that I don't think is a feature.
I use Nova Launcher and it has a feature to have a persistent Google bar upwards. Whenever I click it to search something, it opens up the browser. It wouldn't really bother me if it didn't have this kind of obligatory open style.
So when I use Google Now to voice search something (for example, 'pictures of baby seals') it immediately without any warning opens up my default browser with the google search box, empty, no results.
I go to settings - Google - Search and that immediately happens. (Galaxy J7)
Basically, everything related with the Google App redirects me without mercy to my browser.
That wouldn't be a problem if it weren't because of the fact that I can't change any Google settings without having to press back every second.
To summarise this a bit, there is some kind of 'no mercy' protocol which instantly associates anything related to search or Google to opening up the default browser.
I have tried to reset default browser, but it instead just asks me (still no mercy style) what App should I use to continue and it shows all my browsers (which are 2) included in one of the pics.
Also, I have 2 friends with Galaxy J7 both, and they don't get anything even related to this error.
What I think is that it might be a bug from the update that happened some days ago (2 I think) for the Samsung Galaxy J7 Metal. If it is indeed a bug, then the only thing we can do is wait until Google fixes it, but I still want to know if it's a problem with the update or problem with some setting that I did.
    Thanks in advance.
For the last image, (Google settings) I can only stay there just enough too take a screenshot.

That's definitely a strange behavior. Have you tried booting into Safe Mode to see if it continues?

Thanks for the suggestion! I tried doing that. And when I was on Safe Mode, that didn't happen.
The weird part is that after doing that and all my forums are suddenly screwed. I'll send pics. (this one is the first pic)

Safe Mode temporarily disables all non-system apps, so if the problem doesn't occur while in Safe Mode that indicates an issue with one of your installed applications. If the problem had just recently started, I'd suggest uninstalling any new apps - but it sounds like this has been an ongoing issue for a while.

I hesitate to suggest it, but you may want to consider performing a Factory Data Reset so you can start fresh. You'll of course want to be sure to back up any important data first.

As for the Forums app acting screwy... blame @stevealbright ;)
(Not really - I'd recommend going into Settings > Apps > Forums and clearing the app's cache and data. Your settings should be restored once you log back into the app again.)

OK, I found the app that was doing it! The worst part of the app is that it screws with you by not letting you open ANY App (except settings) without giving it permission. And I don't know if you can uninstall it by normal means. It kinda acts like some kind of virus, though that is what this app does in the first place haha, it is basically a supervisor of your things. But it takes advantage of Android so much this errors end up happening. I trust the app but I guess I'll have to delete it. Thanks for everything!

Cool, I'm glad you were able to track it down!

Which app was the culprit, if you don't mind me asking?

Qustodio. It's some kind of Parental Control... I'm actually trying to contact them to tell them about that horrible error. Why only supervise Chrome and not Google itself? Damn...

Oh God. I went into the FAQ and this appeared. (image) I will translate.
    'Important Info.
Navigation Rules: Qustodio for Android only works using 2 browsers: Google Chrome and the default Android navigator. If Qustodio doesn't report any activity, it may be because your son is using a different browser like Firefox, etc. If that's the case, we recommend you that you block the use of any other browser. To do that go to [...]'
Screw them, I use Google Now to read news and use it as an assistant.

Go into Settings then Apps and look for the browser app you want to disable. Open it and look at the top and click disable. That should stop the incompatibility issues with Chrome browser. Then your default browser will either be Chrome or the other you didn't disable.
Or you can go into browser settings at the 3 dots and remove the device stock browser and write EXAMPLE: https:// Chrome. google.com. then restart browser and whatever you type in as your default browser will be the one that you will be using from this point.

Hey Phalon. Did you see? My other post wasn't me not understanding, it was a real issue.
The thing is, it still screws with me even if I do that. Look at the pics, that is what happens.
And about the app that's causing this, I am already going to delete it, though.

Going by your initial description you have multiple apps (a third-party launcher and a third-party parental control) that alter the general functioning of Android and other apps. It's almost a given there will be oddities and quirky behavior. The more you try to micro-manage how things work and using different apps to do so (do you have even more you didn't mention?), those background services will inevitably create conflicts.

In fact, from what I could see, it is not a conflict. It's a Qustodio configuration that does not permit any browser other than Google Chrome and Firefox. The solution is to uninstall the Qustodio or disable the option to block anonymous browsing (something I do not intend to do) or try to convince them to allow the use of Google Now, which is a useful and harmless application.

Yep. Their problem is that they only accept g chrome and the official phone browser. Apart from that, everything screws around.

Yeah ... try emailing them too. I made it. Who knows if we put pressure on them, they change that in the long run...
