    Hi All,

I am using HTC Desire HD. I accidentally deleted the India map from locations app and then i reinstalled the app from Settings/Location. Now all the data from the locations app has been erased. Please tell me how can I get the locations app fixed.

Not everyone has the Locations app. It isn't part of Android - it's actually from HTC I think.

I have the regular HTC desire and I don't have it.

Perhaps you should post in the HTC Desire HD forum? Not sure what other phones might have this.

As I understand have you the Locations app installed.
Start Locations > Menu button > More ... (shopping cart icon :)) > choose map icon > download your required maps ...

EDIT: These maps are for free.
