I have the HTC desire 510 and I can't download anything. The phone tells me my storage is full and to delete stuff to make room but when I go to delete stuff there's nothing there to delete. I also have a 32 gig sd card and can't figure out why I can't download an app right to that

Try to clear the data of the apps that you can't delete, it can help retrieving some space.

Ultimate solution: root your phone so that you can use the SD card to store the apps.

How much free space do you have on the internal storage? Space on sd is not relevant for app installs.

The phone will have some minimum space it has to keep free as working memory, and if installing an app would take it below that the install will fail. Usually the minimum is 2-300MB, but it varies (many Samsungs have it at 500MB).
