I'm having a problem with my Galaxy S3 sound.

Sound will not come from the phones speakers. I've checked the sound buttons in settings and they are all turned up.

My earpiece speaker works for phone calls but not when on hands free speaker and if I put headphones or external speakers in the jack, they play, but once I pull them out, no sound from the phone!

Factory Reset has been done and still no sound.

Sounds (no pun intended) like a broken earphone jack. (The speakers connect through switches on the jack and if the switches break the speakers never get connected.)

Thanks for your reply I don't know if this makes a difference but this happened when i was adjusting the volume via the side control button while watching a video without earphones in. (I very rarely use earphones and were only used as part of the fault finding process)
