    Hi,

I was gifted Android 4.1 Phone "Deus"

I am from India and I am using Airtel 2G GSM 900

I didn't found any network access on my phone, though Wi-Fi is accessible. But no network at all. Its saying No Service.

I rebooted my phone, clear factory data but no success from past 2 days. Its a new phone. So if you have any idea please let me know

    Thanks - Arin

    Hi Arin.

Are you unable to make and receive phone calls and send SMSs, or is it just the internet not working, and you're unable to browse? If it's the latter, check the phone's got the correct APN details for your carrier(Airtel). You might have to enter the settings manually.

OK Arin. I'm thinking more than likely the phone is faulty and defective, especially given that's it's a cheapo off-brand/non-brand Chinese one sold by a Shenzhen wholesaler.

One thing though, have you tried your Airtel SIM in another phone, or tried another SIM in the Dues? That should prove whether the phone itself is broken, or it's just the SIM. If it is actually faulty, really the only thing you can do with it is to return it for replacement or refund under warranty.
