Hi there,
I installed Wanamlite ROM with phenomenal kernel the other day which is a brilliant combination but I have a problem since..
Quite simply, gmail is driving me mad. When I get emails,I get no notifications. No sound, no led light flashing and nothing. When I open the gmail app, the unread mails are there but I have to manually look.
I've checked the notification settings and they're enabled and they should be. I've tried clearing the cache and data to no avail and even uninstalling all updates to the gmail app and taking it back to original stock and it makes no difference.
Is this a common problem that others have experienced? Is there anything else I could do? This is an amazing Rom and kernel combination which I'd hate to lose but I can't not have push email working.
