problemo

    i'm trying to flash the sense2.1 rom. when i do it on my hero it says

    "E:corrupt file: system/bin/btipsd"
    "E: Verification failes"

    Installation aborted

    Anyone got any advice - I would really appreciate it

    I think your download of the ROM is probably corrupted. Try it again :)

    Ive now tried it with villain 5 and i get this message

    E: corrupt file:
    system/framework/com.htc.framework.jar

    E: Verification failed

    Installation aborted

    what is going wrong

    If the HTC framework is giving you errors, go back to the original hero ROM as provided by HTC. Install through the HTC update procedure. Than root and retry...

    now its saying

    corrupt file

    system/lib/libopencore_player.so

    Did you flash the original software? If so, it most probably is a hardware failure. The files you mention are part of the system, not of any applications.
