    welcome to the forums!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
go into recovery and wipe dalvik cache and cache and see if that helps. if you have have clockwork mod dalvik cache is found under advanced and cache is cache partition. any time you get error or bugs orforc closures always try wiping dalvik cache and cache first. it will most of the time fix the issue.

i would not recommend using rom manager. it tends to be very buggy and does not wipe very well creating all sorts of issues. i would do everything in recovery. also there might be a time when all you will have is recovery and if you are not familiar with your recovery, you will need help. also i would recommend that you switch recoveries to amon ra. please read this http://androidforums.com/evo-4g-all...ooting-dummies-guide-gingerbread-edition.html. just skip the rooting part. there is a section that talks about recoveries and how to switch it. plus it has a ton of info.
