I've only been rooted for a couple days so haven't had a lot of time to play with it. I have Velocity 1.1 and I'm trying to update my Yahoo Mail app. I keep getting update unsuccessful with installation error "package file is invalid." I got the same problem yesterday trying to download the FB app but after trying it over and over it finally worked. Is there something wrong or a setting I need to change? Am I the only one having this problem?

you should have the velocity tool kit already installed with it. go into that, under troubleshoot, and select clear cache, then clear dalvik. it should reboot, then be good as new.

Thanks! I'm trying it now. So, I understand cache...but can you give me a quick 101 on what dalvik cache is?

Dalvik is the memory for the app data. It allows for faster loading. If you were paying attention, after clearing it, the phone took longer to reboot and load apps.
