Root Problems flashing using a MAC

Ok so I broke my charging cable to my Windows laptop .... borrowing a MAC right now ... ive been able to flash some things on it but now when i try my phone says " Installation aborted". I went into Safari and preferences and then ensured that " Open safe files after downloading " was still unchecked and it is ... any ideas ?

As long as its not unzipping the files there shouldn't be any problems downloading ROM/ect with a MAC. You just can't use iOS for rooting.

Try redownloading it. Sounds like a bad download

I've tried downloading several times ... never had an issue on a mac before.

I was able to flash it ... just happened to be a bad dload over ..and over .. and over and started questioning things. lol

What ROM are you trying to install? Are you positive its made for our device?

yes .. ive been around a while lol ... just been absent. Simply flashing from Cm7.2 to Mik3.1 .... success! Thanks for your help though ... guys like you make the forums great!
