tried to run the diagnostics, and i got errors with the sendkeys, java, and whatever was above java (i can't remember the selection).

i had usb debugging checked, and my sd card was not mounted.

any ideas why this wouldn't check out correctly?

The Java is due to you not having the JDK installed. If you can not get the pre-kitchen to return all checkmarks, I would suggest doing it manually. The guide is very simple to follow and truthfully, you'll probably spend less time doing it manually then you will getting all the necessary parts installed for pre-kitchen.

Also, did you read through the guide and make sure to install the necessary Drivers for your phone?

the java portion is only needed if you plan on signing zip files... the rest should be corrected once you get the correct drivers installed.. I recommend installing PDANet in order to get the correct drivers. there's a link to it in the how to root guide at the top of the forum.

even then, you might still run into problems.. manual rooting is very easy..follow the guide and copy/paste the commands...
