I rooted my droid using the following site and instructions:
How To: Install Android 2.2 Froyo On the Motorola Droid

It's great and i like it better that the non-rooted droid specially since i've had Froyo and flash earlier, but i can't connect to wi-fi, is there a fix for this?

Not such a big deal but something that is cool that i don't have is that my Facebook does not link with my contacts, is there a fix for this?

Appreciate any help you might have on this.

    Thank you,

Probably be best to flash a new rom if you are still using the rom from that guide. That rom is pretty outdated and your issues are most likely related to it being an early build of Froyo

    Agreed, go newer ROM.
Facebook/Contacts, go into facebook, Settings, Sync Contacts, and then pick either all or existing. should be G2G
