Programs and Apps being re-named. Please Help

For some reason, many of my Apps and programs have been renamed:

Amazon MP3 --> com.amazon.mp3...

Meebo --> com.meebo.accounts.Accounts...

At some point, I went into

Menu --> Applications --> Manage Applications

then is said "Computing..." next to all the Apps and Programs.

For some reason, many of them were renamed.

It now appears that most are back to normal, but the Meebo App I downloaded still has the funny/odd name, com.something.

Is there any way to fix this?

Rename them?

Do I have to uninstall, and re-install it?

If you haven't rooted your phone, you can just uninstall and reinstall every misnamed app. But in either case, when you reboot your phone it's going to get screwed up again, and there isn't any permanent fix out there yet.

I was just in the Sprint store.

I noticed when I updated to the new firmware, it fixed my .com.XXXX problem.

However, I'm not sure if it was automatically fixed previously.

Whatever, it's fixed now.
