Im running MIUI (thanks Isaac
) and the awesome ROM has the ability to use Proxy server settings. As my phone cannot get cell reception inside my workplace building, I want to at least have Wifi connection to my phone. I can do this by entering my workplaces Proxy settings.
I just set the proxy setting for my workplace and the Triumph works great using wifi over the proxy. However, Im not too familiar with a proxy and have these questions:
1. How private is my data on my phone when connected to a proxy?
2. How private are my web requests when using a proxy?
3. What happens at other wifi (non-proxy) locations? Is my workplace proxy still requested first by my wifi settings?
