Help Ps3 internet browser with tether

Does anyone know if the ps3 internet browser works without using an agent switcher? ive been able to look at the ps store but no luck with youtube or internet browser

I haven't attempted it, but I would think not. Reason being, one website I went to (can't remember what) couldn't detect what browser the PS3 uses. So if the browser type isn't being detected at all, metro's systems might notice that it's not an android/mobile device.
