I installed CWM-Based Recovery v5.0.2.8

When trying to put a custom rom on my phone by (install zip from sdcard, i get the error E:Can't mount /sdcard/


any ideas how to fix?

or how to get back to stock so i can use touch recovery?

I remember getting that issue... restart the phone and then unmount the sd card from the settings menu, then remount and try again. It might fix it after a couple of tries... Lots of users have had that happen to them in the past and really its just a glitch with CWM itself. To get back to stock recovery, we have that in the all things root section, or at least we should...?

A simple solution to this problem in clockwork mod is to partition your sdcard using cwm recovery. Go to "create partition" in cwm and create a small partition of ext. Now your sd card will be mounted. ofcourse copy the zip files to be flashed afterwards.
