PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT: How to retain Root with the ICS update

    I know this should go into the Root section, but thought more might see it if I place it here - if you want Root and ICS then this is pretty important so I thought more views was more important to the community here than being in the Root subforum (at least for now).

    You need to Root before applying the update using ViperMOD (super-easy Root tool), and then install OTA Rootkeeper and run through it's setup. Then post-update just go into Rootkeeper and restore Root. Simples.

    Yes Vipermod has been updated to work for all of them as of 2.4.2012
