I do not know if this is same 0712 build as the one I tried the other day, but..
0712 didn't boot the other day [emoji32] (TWRP said "no OS installed, are you sure you want to boot?") Only got Green Andy but 0711 did quite nicely. [emoji41] Phone calls, Data & SMS worked. Didn't check MMS.. Forgot. [emoji28]

    0711 build:
Tried it again with Slim Gapps = quite nice, actually. Still don't understand the purpose of the OmniSwitch (no hate, just genuinely clueless). Data is great but 4G tends to drop signal (maybe MY signal is screwing up today? Dunno) often and MMS hangs on sending.

Edit: My data is being screwy today due to workers on the tower.

    Build posted 0712:
    This boots, no problem!
    - I have no LTE data - but I think that is a problem specifically in my locale, temporarily.
    - MMS but errors out with a toast msg "no APN specified for device."
    - No file manager anywhere in ROM.
    - Camera still doesn't connect.

Edit: Gallery, music, everything else seemed Great!

Question: does this OC kernel have init.d or any other capabilities? I ask for Modding possibilities..

This ROM seems great. I had a problem the first time I tried to flash. So I switched over to TWRP to flash but I realized that I lost all of my files in the process so it took me a couple of hours to get that working. Other than that it feels great to have a non zte stock interface.

definite serious Props to phen, for sure! Great work with this ROM.
And Yes, the LTE outage was indeed the local tower as something shut it down. It's back @ 100% today!

Awesome then. Was SuperR's OC kernel used in this Omni? If so, then it already has init.d, plus I seen addon.d folders included within the ROM as well. [emoji41]

    I believe its stock kernel

For some reason on my device it saves everything in the data partition. Including downloads.

This is NOT a guarantee, but have you tried flashing SuperR's TB (SD write) fix in his stock deodexed B12 thread? I don't really know if there'll be any conflicts but it's possible. Make a backup before flashing, of course

U can install exposed and there is a module for saving to ext sd

I switched back to the modifed stock rom and my internal data was still there. I think the ROM itself uses a file system based on the Samsung Galaxy Series.

Which modified (deodexed/debloated, Lollipop, or my JollyRoger4G) ROM?

I'd recommend using Philz Touch for all our "stock" ROMs and TWRP for Omni as Philz don't like to flash Omni ROM.
Also, TWRP doesn't like to wipe very well and you have to select to wipe internal SD in "advanced wipe"

The stock ROMs need some script updated for twrp to flash
