So, I happened to temporarily lose my eris at work today. I ended up finding it about 15 minutes later on the hood of a truck parked outside my shop (Family Owned Auto Repair Business). I needed it to give the wife a call and had NO sound whatsoever. I tried 3x and still no luck. Also, to mention the phone was ON FIRE (not literally but ya know). I put the thing in the fridge for almost a half an hour while I finished up a brake job and viola! Got my sound back....So does the temperature of the phone really affect the functionality that much?
Yes, especially once you start overclocking. If I reach my safety temp, the clock goes down to 225, this lets the phone cool down internally. I put mine in the fridge the other day to get it back to operating temperature, then again I overclock to 768mhz =D
