Root putting notification/ navigation bar on top?

I am rooted with cyanogen mod 9 but alas it still has the ICS style notification bar/navigation bar combo which I thought was part of the now-gone TouchWiz. I also seem to be lacking the cyanogenmod setting to reposition it to top or bottom (Kindle Fire has it). I'm running Android 4.1.2

EDIT: Never mind, I just ROM flashed Android 4.2.2 which put it on top where it belongs.
