Can someone please explain the difference between quadrant and linpack scores? I get better quad scores with a lower clock speed and better linpack scores with a higher clock speed. which one should I be more interested in?
    Thanks in advance.

    on kaos v32 btw.

    assassin ;),

Linpack is pretty-much a compute-intensive (CPU) benchmark. Whereas Quadrant is a much more broader-based test that hits both the CPU, memory, GPU (if available), and screen drawing operations.

Not sure that I could explain how you get better Quadrant scores at lower clock speeds...this does seem counter-intuitive. Getting higher scores with Linpack when clocked higher (and/or having JIT installed and enabled) does make sense.

    Hope this helps some.
