Root Question about 2nd Init Recovery

When I go into recovery I have a list of 5 different restore files. The dates are all screwed up on them so what I'd like to know is if the most recent is listed at the top or at the bottom.

Thanks!

there should be a difference in the names.

What are the differences?

I usually erase my old backups before I create a new one.

Since this is questions about the recovery I'll just ask my question here...can we flash things onto the stock ROM with this or is it only for custom ROMs?

Sorry last thing, if i install the widget, do I still need to toggle from internal to external memory and install zips into external or can i just install to internal

It will install to the same place no matter what, that just changes what sd card you're using to flash from.

Sir when opening 2nd-init recovery app there are two options:
2nd-init recovery
Reboot recovery
Which one do i choose first or second option?
Thanks for your help

Never choose reboot recovery unless you want to factory reset lol

I think he is talking about in the recovery app, when the phone is booted normally. There are two buttons, one of them installs the recovery, the other boots into it. If you are talking about in the recovery itself, where you have to use the volume buttons to scroll, then he is right.

You only need to press the first button the first time you open the app. Every time after that just choose the bottom button to reboot into recovery.
