So I was reading the "How to be safe" sticky in the section about Permissions and I have a question about the "Phone calls - read phone state and identity permission.' There it says: "Additionally, any developer targeting older versions of android (1.6 and earlier I believe) will get this permission automatically added to their app."
Does that mean, if I make an app right now, and I make it so that it supports Android 1.6 or earlier, that it will automatically have the Phone calls permission added to it? And on the opposite end, if I make the app only for Android 2.x or newer that it won't have that permission unless I specifically add that?
