    Hi Everyone,

What is this process and why does it keep running all the time? I have JuiceDefender and it always shows up on my notification as a shield with a green dot meaning "force-enabled application running" and I assume it is this process.

I am in Canada and always conscience of my data usage. I am curious if this uses data and if so, how much?

    Thanks,

That's your google apps. So it will do that if your calender, contacts, or gmail are syncing.

I thought so, but I have all of that unchecked. I do not have anything associated with my gmail account being synced. I figured it would use too much data if it was syncing all the time. So I am just curious to why this process still runs. hmm....

It might be another process of your Google apps. But it's definitely one of them.
